Assistant Professor - History   The Department of History at the University of Southern Indiana, a public University in Evansville, Indiana, seeks applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in History. Appointment will begin Fall 2026.   Duties/Responsibilities  The Assistant Professor will be expected to engage in professional and university service activities and teach 12 credit hours per semester which includes undergraduate departmental course offerings in United States history. The successful candidate will specialize in 19th century United States history, and can teach classes on enslavement and Civil War. The Department is open to expertise in all themes, including (
