STETSON UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES POSITION: Assistant Professor of American HistoryStetson University seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of American History with expertise in the post-Civil War United States. Candidates with specialization in African American History are strongly encouraged to apply; other areas of interest include the History of Science/Medicine/Technology, Public History, Military History, and/or U.S. in the World (excluding Asia and Latin America).  This is a full-time, 9-month position beginning in August 2025. QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in History, American Studies, or a related field by August 2025. The successful candidate will ha
