Job Description The Department of History at Davidson College invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in early American history and/or that of the British Atlantic World from the 16th through 18th centuries. We are especially interested in candidates who conceptualize the era expansively as demonstrated through their teaching and research. The successful candidate will teach existing survey and upper-level courses on early American history and the era of the American Revolution as well as develop new courses that appeal to our increasingly diverse students.
