Assistant Historian
NATURE OF WORK This is professional, scholarly work preserving, creating, and disseminating historical information about the U.S. Senate. Work includes providing research, writing, and editorial expertise to the Senate Historical Office and the Senate community; collaborating with Historical Office staff on institutional history projects; providing presentations on a variety of Senate-related topics; serving as a reference source to the Senate community, scholars, the media, and the public regarding historical events and the institutional history of the U.S. Senate. The Assistant Historian also leads the history content team for the U.S. Senate website and social media.
