The Department of History at Hunter College, CUNY invites applications for an Open Rank (full-time, tenure-track/tenured) position in U.S. Women’s and Gender History, with an anticipated start date on or about September 1, 2023. Candidates must demonstrate excellence or strong promise of excellence in both research and publication and in the teaching of U.S. Women’s and Gender History. In addition to teaching courses in this specialty, the appointee should have a demonstrated commitment to teaching the first and second half of the U.S. history survey.
