Assistant Professor of African American/Public History
The History Department of the University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for a nine-month tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of African American History and Public History, beginning August 2022. The successful candidate will have a scholarly focus on pre-20th-century African American history, teach courses in both African American History and Public History, participate in the supervision of M.A. theses and capstone projects, and support UNCW's interdisciplinary major in Africana Studies.
