The Department of History seeks candidates who can bolster our existing strengths in African American History, United States History, and Southern History. The Department also seeks candidates whose commitment to scholarship, teaching, and service will support a climate of diversity and public engagement.
The teaching load for this position is 2 classes per semester. Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. in History or a related field in-hand by July 1, 2021.
