The Department of History and the Department of Native American and Indigenous Studies (NAIS) at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, invite applicants for a tenure-track faculty joint appointment in History and NAIS to begin Fall 2020 at the rank of Assistant Professor. This new joint appointment will be housed in the History Department with regard to expectations for tenure and promotion.
• A PhD in in United States History or Native American and Indigenous Studies
• Training in the philosophy and methods of historical inquiry and/or MA in History ???
• ABD will be considered but degree should be close to completion (and be completed within one year of the hire)
