The Western North Carolina Historical Association (WNCHA) seeks an experienced, self-directed, organized professional Executive Director for a full-time position based in Asheville, NC. A bachelor’s degree is required. Preference will be given to applicants with historical association, museum or non-profit experience. The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing operations of WNCHA and the Smith-McDowell House Museum, educational programming, fundraising, membership and marketing. The salary range is $50-60,000 plus benefits.
