The Department of Humanities at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi seeks a Visiting Professional Assistant Professor of History beginning fall 2019. This is a full-time, nine-month, one-year appointment for the academic year 2019-2020 position in U.S. history. The teaching load will be five courses per academic semester, to include both halves of the U.S. history survey (which breaks at 1865) and one section of World History since 1500 in the fall. The successful candidate will have suitable teaching experience and a demonstrated ability to teach a full-time load. Candidates in any U.S. field are encouraged to apply.

The Department of Humanities at TAMUCC offers undergraduate majors in History, Philosophy, and Spanish and a master or art's degree in History.
