The Department of History at the Johns Hopkins University invites applications for an open-rank position in the history of North America before 1800. ?We are interested in scholars working in any field of early America, broadly defined to include borderlands, imperial, environmental, and Atlantic World histories, among others. PhD must be in hand at the time of the application. Queer, trans, and scholars of color are strongly encouraged to apply.
