This position serves as a Program Specialist located in EDSITEment, which is a part of the Division of Education Programs, National Endowment for the Humanities. EDSITEment was established in 1997 to enhance, augment, and advance the teaching and learning of the humanities.

Education and Training
At the GS-12 level Qualified candidates must possess: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level or equivalent experience.
Specialized experience is experience that is directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. For example, professional experience in secondary school classroom education; developing and evaluating humanities curriculum in history, social studies, and/or related areas such as government; and developing, editing, and proofreading humanities educational and web-based content.
