St. Charles Community College invites qualified candidates to apply for the full-time, temporary History Faculty position for fall 2018. The faculty member will teach courses covering a range of history topics primarily focused on American History and will frequently interact within the department and the academic community in a professional capacity. This is a one-year appointment.
Qualifications: A minimum of a Master's degree in History or a related field with 18 graduate level credit hours in history is required. At least two years of college teaching experience is highly recommended. The candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student learning, assessment and the use of technology in the delivery of instruction.
Minimum starting salaries for fall 2018:
Instructor $52,200; Assistant Professor $57,500; Associate Professor $63,215
