Under the direction of the La Guardia and Wagner Archives' Director, the Museum Specialist will support educational program activities within the office. The Museum Specialist will become an integral part of the Archives' educational outreach program. (see link to CUNY website Job Listing for further details)
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree and four years' related experience required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Advanced Degree preferred. - Extensive knowledge of New York City History including a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and a record of achievement in some aspect of public history. - Experience in museums or archives highly desirable. - Excellent research and writing skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency using Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
